Welcome and thank you for using the GTA6-Mods.com pre-registration website ("Site"). These Terms of Use govern your use of the Site, and by using the Site you agree to be bound by these terms and consent to the information collection described in our Privacy Policy.

About the Site

The Site lets you pre-register for the upcoming GTA6-Mods.com platform: reserve a username, sign up to be notified when the platform launches, and optionally indicate interest in the closed beta. The Site is free and no payment is required.

The full GTA6-Mods.com platform — where you will be able to upload, browse, and discuss mods — is a separate offering that will launch in the future. These Terms cover only the pre-registration phase. Separate terms will apply to the launch platform and you will be asked to accept them when it goes live.

Account Creation

You may be required to create a user account ("Account") in order to use or access certain aspects of the Site. You agree that all of the details you provide in connection with your Account are about yourself and not about another individual. You may not impersonate another person, brand, or trademark holder. Reserved names (for example, admin, support, rockstar, gta6, and similar official-looking names) are not available.

Username Reservation Policy

While pre-registration allows you to reserve a username for the upcoming platform, this reservation does not grant you ownership rights over that specific username. To ensure a fair and safe environment for our community, the following strict rules apply to username reservations:

• Deceptive or Tricky Usernames: We strictly prohibit usernames that attempt to bypass our reserved names filter, are intentionally deceptive, or imply an official affiliation with GTA6-Mods.com, our staff, or any official game developers (e.g., creating names like admin1, moderator_team, r0ckstar, gta6_official). We reserve the right to immediately delete any such Account and cancel its pre-registration without prior notice, warning, or explanation.
• Username Squatting and Bulk Registration: Registering multiple Accounts for the purpose of hoarding usernames, registering names to sell or transfer them later (squatting), or any form of bulk or automated registration is strictly forbidden. Any Accounts suspected of these activities will be permanently deleted without notice.
• Protection of Recognized Creators and Brands: We respect the established identities of recognized modders, content creators, and brands within the community. If you believe a username widely associated with your established identity has been reserved by someone else, please contact us at [email protected] or via our official Discord server to initiate a verification process. Once the rightful owner can sufficiently verify their identity to us, we reserve the right to reclaim and reassign that username. In such instances, the unauthorized user's reserved name will be administratively modified (for example, by appending a suffix like _1 to the original name) or revoked entirely, without prior notice.
• Right of Revocation: We reserve the right to revoke, reclaim, alter, or reassign any reserved username at our sole discretion, at any time, and for any reason, including but not limited to trademark disputes, inappropriate language, or violation of these Terms.

Account Suspension and Termination

You agree that GTA6-Mods.com has the right, in our sole discretion, to investigate any actual or suspected violation of these Terms of Use and to suspend or terminate your Account and refuse you access to your Account or the Site for any reason, including if GTA6-Mods.com believes that you have violated these Terms of Use or any applicable law. In cases of abusive username reservation as outlined above, this termination will be immediate and without the right to appeal.

You may also terminate your Account and your agreement to these terms at any time via your dashboard (Settings → Danger zone → Delete account). Deletion is immediate and irreversible. Upon deletion, your profile, avatar, connected third-party accounts (OAuth links), and preferences will be permanently removed, and your previously reserved username will immediately become available for others to register.

Account Security

You may not use anyone else's Account at any time and you may not allow anyone else to use your Account at any time. You are responsible for all activity occurring under your Account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account username and password, and agree not to disclose your password to anyone. You agree not to transfer, resell, or otherwise convey your Account or the right to use your Account to anyone. You agree that GTA6-Mods.com will not be liable for any loss you may incur as a result of someone else using your Account, either with or without your knowledge. If you have reason to believe that your Account is no longer secure, you must: (i) promptly change your password; and (ii) immediately notify us at [email protected].

User Content

Certain aspects of the Site may allow you to submit content, such as your avatar image (collectively, "User Content"). By submitting or posting User Content to the Site, you grant GTA6-Mods.com a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, sublicensable, worldwide license to use the User Content, together with all consents or waivers (if any) necessary to host, store, reproduce, transform (including resizing, re-encoding, and generating fixed-size variants), distribute, and publicly display the User Content on the Site, by any means and in all media formats and channels now known or hereafter devised, and to advertise and promote the Site, without further notice to, or permission from, you or any other person, and without compensation or reference to you or any other person.

Please retain copies of all User Content as GTA6-Mods.com is under no obligation to store or return any User Content to you. You are solely responsible for your User Content. GTA6-Mods.com is under no obligation to monitor User Content or use of the Site. However, GTA6-Mods.com has the right to monitor or moderate User Content, in our sole discretion, and to enforce our or a third party's intellectual property rights in any User Content. GTA6-Mods.com reserves the right to discard or remove User Content from the Site in its sole discretion and without any liability whatsoever.

You represent and warrant the following as to your User Content:

• Your User Content does not infringe, violate, or misappropriate any third-party intellectual property rights, including copyrights or trademarks.
• Your User Content, as used in connection with the Site, will not violate any applicable laws or regulations or infringe or violate any rights of a third party.
• Your User Content does not contain illegal, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit content involving minors.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other Users or our staff
• Create multiple accounts to evade bans, rate limits, or other moderation
• Use bots, scrapers, or other automation to access the Site except as expressly permitted
• Attempt to circumvent security, rate limits, authentication, or moderation
• Reverse-engineer or interfere with the Site's operation
• Send spam, phishing, or unsolicited commercial communications via the Site
• Engage in username squatting or the unauthorized selling/trading of pre-registered Accounts

Pre-registration is a reservation

Pre-registering reserves your username and adds you to our launch-notification list. It does not guarantee that the launch platform will go live by any specific date, that all features mentioned during pre-registration will be available at launch, or that the closed beta will accept all opted-in Users (capacity may be limited). We reserve the right to change, postpone, or cancel the launch project. If we cancel, we will inform you by email and delete your data.

Pre-registration Rewards and Badges

Any promotional items, badges (such as the "Decade-waiter badge"), or perks offered during the pre-registration phase are purely cosmetic, have no monetary value, and cannot be transferred, exchanged, or sold. These rewards will only be granted to eligible Accounts if and when the full GTA6-Mods.com platform officially launches. We reserve the right to modify, replace, or cancel any planned rewards or badges at our sole discretion without any liability.

Closed Beta

If you opt in to the closed beta, we may invite you to test pre-launch features. Closed-beta participants may be asked to accept additional terms (such as a non-disclosure agreement and a feedback license) at the point of invite. You may opt out at any time from your dashboard.

Copyright Agent

If you believe that any User Content or other material on the Site infringes your copyright rights, please contact us at [email protected] with the exact URL of where the alleged infringing material is located. If we are notified that any User Content infringes another's intellectual property rights, we may remove such User Content. We have a repeat infringer policy and reserve the right to terminate your Account for submitting infringing User Content in violation of these Terms of Use.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Your use of the Site is at your own risk, and the Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. GTA6-Mods.com does not warrant that the service will be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the service or the servers that make the service available are free of viruses or other harmful components. GTA6-Mods.com does not accept any liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Site.

Changes to These Terms of Use

GTA6-Mods.com has the discretion to update these Terms of Use at any time. When we do, we will post a notification on our Site and (where the change is material) notify registered Users by email. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review these Terms of Use periodically and become aware of modifications.
